Fueling the Hatchets
Powerhouse provides a meal to the Hatchet Football team after their Thursday practice
Monday-Friday from 3-6 is the most at risk time for teenagers. The Powerhouse provides them a safe place to come and hang out with their friends while being provided with snacks, drinks, and fruit on a daily basis. This also gives those parents who work, the peace of mind knowing their child is safe and being cared for while they focus on work until they clock out for the day and come pick them up around 6 pm
The majority of our youth have never left a 50 mile radius. We plan adventure trips that include rock climbing, hiking, backpacking, camping, repealing, white water rafting, urban exploring and more. We do these things outside of our home turf to allow teens the opportunity to see and experience new things. On these adventure trips we teach the 5 C’s of leadership: courage, compassion, character, craftsmanship and Christ. These C’s along with life skills and experience help teens broaden their vision for what and who they can become.
Fueling the Hatchets is a partnership between youth pastors, the PowerHouse, and the Hatchet Football program where we get 10-15 minutes every Thursday following the team's practice to provide a Gospel centered message to the football players, coaches, and managers.
One Night is a collaborative effort between PowerHouse and area youth pastors to break the barriers of denominational walls.
The HUB is a place for youth to meet in a safe environment from 8-11 every Friday night at Antioch Christian Church
The Real Truth or TRT is a partnership between youth pastors and the PowerHouse where we get 10-15 minutes every Thursday during JR. high lunch to provide a Gospel centered message to youth.
